Lynn and I had a Sunday afternoon at Berowra Waters and then on the Wednesday Les & Lori picked us up for a drive to Church Point, initially it was going to be somewhere VERY crowded, Manly.

Mel Gibson turns Richmond into the city of Lynchburg, Virginia USA.

Mel Gibson has turned Richmond, in Sydney’s north west, into the 1940's city of Lynchburg Virginia, for his latest film ‘Hacksaw Ridge’. As I have never been to a movie set before I thought this might be interesting. They had finished shooting in Richmond, and had moved on, but there was still a lot of cleaning up going on and enough props about to give me a feel as to what it takes to make a movie.
