Barangaroo and Darling Harbour with Lorraine & John.


A walk around the new Bangaroo Reserve to Darling Harbour. Transport was by RiverCat.

Carpentaria was designed by Messrs D & C Stevenson of Edinburgh, Scotland and built at Cockatoo Island Dockyard, Sydney in 1917. Carpentaria was last stationed in the Bass Strait oilfields serving as a traffic separator. The Light Ship was retired from service in 1985. It's now on display at the Australian National Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour Sydney.
