The Lake Parramatta Easter Olympics

These Easter Olympics were organised by Delle, and Lake Parramatta was chosen as being a more central location for all the participating competitors. Although the weather was a little damp a good day was had by all. Thanks again to Delle

Videos have to be watched on this page. (p.s. quality not good, I had the wrong setting on camera)

The contestants came from all over.

The teams were ready to go.

First competition for the day was 'pass the parcel'.

'Knock down a bunnie' drew a big crowd.

Nat and girls.

2 of the bigger kids.

I thought they were the 'trophies' at first.

But they were the 'targets' for the shooting competition.
Hoping for a 'Rabbit's Eye'.

Who's guarding the guard ?

'Stick the moustache on the rabbit' on Paul needed x-ray vision.

Some tried just vision only.

A high skill level was required to get the 'chocolate egg in the basket'.

That was close!

Throw the egg in the basket.

Will tries to psyche up his egg to stay on the spoon. This was the main event of the day.
We don't where that little kid on the far right came from.

The chocolate egg and spoon race.

Checking out the lake before going on the walk.

Pretty parasols.

It was good weather for ducks.

Water Boards

Heading off to Never Never Land.

And only 3 returned.

It's ok, they are all here.

Everyone looks relieved to be back after the long trek.

Bursting balloons

All smiles before the swim.

Lexi splashes in the puddles as she runs across a frozen Lake Parramatta.

Last one in's a rotten egg.

"Come on in, it's lovely"

The local snapping crocodile had Paul jumping out pretty quick.

Umbrellas were the big hit of the day.

Reflections in a Lake

I think he must have been trying out a new reel and lure.

After the big fish.
