West Australian Wildflower Trip. Day 12, Yalligup to Perth. 20th Sept 2014





Not a wildflower in sight today, on this, our second last day of the wildflower tour.
Other than the time at the Underwater Observatory and lunch at Busselton, plus an ice-cream stop at Mandura, the rest of the day was spent on the bus on the long way back to perth.

Yallingup to Perth 268 km.




The jetty at Busselton isthe longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, reaching a length of 1.8 kms.

We will be taking the 'Busselton Flyer' to the Underwater Observatory at the end of the jetty .

Mandurah Road roundabout sculpture – 'Scoop'. The design is an abstract representation
 of a net, changing as it moves through water. It is constructed from marine grade aluminium.
