Royal Easter Show 2015.

We hadn't been to the show for a number of years so we thought it might be time for a re-visit.

Click to see Mr 'Googles' video he did for me.

Videos have to be watched on this page.

The Show opened in 1882.

Plenty of colour.

Small crowd and no queues for the rides when you get there early.

One of the favourite rides for the little ones.

It was lucky that the tent didn't leak.

Very dangerous for drunk adults.

A lot of work goes into the cake decorating at the Royal Easter Show.

Now and in an earlier time.

The floral section is highly competitive.

growers that reflect the diversity and excellence of their regional produce.

The theme revolved around the 100th anniversary of the Anzac landing.

These poppies would be classed as a weed out on the farm.

They were well and truly out-numbered by the fruit and veg.

Northern Distict's Display.

We spotted Channel 9 'Today' reporter Mike Dalton.

You would look good lugging that home from Coles.

At first I thought the horse had 3 front legs.

Everyone is well dressed for the Hackney Pony In Harness event.

Horses strutting their stuff in the main arena.

Be careful little girl, he could be related to 'Chucky'.

Freedom and fun.

This ride was great ..................... so they told me.

What the show is all about.

Alert and raring to go.

Horse has a dust bath then meets the ladies.

Synchronised resting.

"I'll give you $30 if you can get me out of here".

Flies enjoying themselves to a free feed of stable waste. .

"Hey kid, gotta knife?"

Put on his best clobber for the show.

If I stand back here I mightn't get my new shirt dirty.

The boys are back in town.

Did you see that good looking cow back there?

I'm just glad for their sakes that cattle can't read.
(burgers *  steaks * ribs and cookhouse)

2 cuties.

Look'n good........................... the cattle I mean.

Your dinner comes in all different colours.

The judges found it hard to pick a winner out of these two.

Cattle and ponies.

I think we are on next.

Oh boy, I wish I could get his phone number.

There was no 'acting the goat' in this competition.

The country once rode on their backs.

It's been a long day.

Too knackered even for a cigarette.

If they only knew.

Birds of a feather.

Battle of the combs.

4th place cracked under the pressure.

Jealousy in the dog world.

It's a dog's life.

Look out for the bunnies.

I went on one of these........once.

Don't tell him, but I just ate his baby.

Where we all learnt out need for speed.

Soft serve ice-cream and a ferris wheel, must be the Easter Show.

Getting ready for the next event in the wood chopping arena.

Marking the blocks and stretching.  They were sponsored by WD40 but used Selley's.

The drummers horse had its head down all the time. Could have dropped his wallet here the night before.

The cattle had other ideas on what to do.

Working as a team but have different ideas.

When cattle have a mind of their own.
