Graduation, The Mid North Coast and New England - Day 3, 10th April 2014.

Today we are still in Nth Haven.
The morning started with a walk along the beach (we nearly reach the other end) then a leisurely lunch of fresh local oysters and prawns in our motel room. After lunch we went to see the very interesting garden grounds of the St Peter the Fisherman's church at Laurieton. From there it was up to the top of Nth (Big) Brother where we happened to bump into a couple of my brother's friends, Darryl and Bernie. It was then off for a drive to Swans Crossing for afternoon tea.

I think this is now a 'by-gone' moth.

A nice morning for a walk.

All the colours of the rainbow. Mussel shells.

Black Footprints.

Now there are no foot-prints.

Sand on Fire.
Patterns in the sand.

St Peter the fisherman Catholic Church.

A little bit different, but very interesting.

Must get cold in the winter.

They have put a lot of work into the garden.

Very photogenic.

Cascades near Swans Crossing.

Rail bridge over the Camden Haven River at Kendall.

Platypus Country   -  Yabby Traps Prohibited.
(a Yabby is a small freshwater crayfish which is nice to eat, like prawns)
I didn't think there were Platypus in this part of the river. Sign was near the rail bridge
.

North Haven, North Brother, Swans Crossing and back to Nth Haven.
