It was a wet morning when we left Nth Haven for Coffs Harbour to visit Anne, Barry and Amie in Coffs Harbour. The rain stopped just south of Macksville and the rest of the journey was mostly in the sun.
Today being a Friday meant that I had other duties to attend to, and that was my Friday Flora hunt for plants/flowers to photograph. So with a slight, planned in advanced, detour to the Coffs Harbour Botanical Gardens that took care of that. Flowers in the Morgan's garden also helped to fill my quota.
More photos from the Botanic Gardens and Anne and Barry's can be see at my
Flora Friday in Oz blog.

...........not so perfect the next. It worked out well as we were leaving Nth Haven and would be on the road most of the day |

Pelicans spend a lot of the time in/on the water, but they always look miserable when it rains. |

Reminds me of that old song 'Wet on the Wall'.............or was it 'West of the Wall'. |

It was a little sunnier on the Nambucca River at Macksville where this young Water Dragon was kept busy chasing insects. |
The following 3 photos were taken at the Botanical Gardens at Coffs Harbour.
